Olivia Zunino

Dr. Zunino received her DVM from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. As a general practitioner, her special interests include general surgery, animal behavior and exotic animal medicine. In addition to her DVM, she also earned a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Studio Art from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In her training to become a veterinarian, she pursued a wide variety of experience, working with zoos, aquariums, street dog clinics, and various small animal general and emergency veterinary hospitals. One of the very first veterinary hospitals she worked for was the Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital back in 2016, and she loved the practice so much she returned to work here full time as an Associate Veterinarian. Her love of exotic pets extends beyond her professional interests, as she has two rabbits of her own at home. They are a bonded pair that go by the names Freckles (white) and Colonel Dax (tuxedo).
