Learn Earthquake and Emergency Preparedness with Your Pet in Mind

You are invited to attend the third annual Pet Ready!, Saturday, May 2, 1:00pm to 4:00pm, to see amazing rescue demonstrations and to learn how to get ready for the next earthquake with your pet in mind.

Who: You! Open to the public for FREE. Parking is $3 (cash only) -- Free parking to the first 50 people to RSVP to
What: An exciting half day of live presentations from actual veterinary professionals, emergency experts and even live search-and-rescue dog demonstrations to get you ready for the next earthquake as a pet owner. Tour the Foothill College veterinary tech labs and learn bandaging techniques. Find out the differences between being prepared for humans and being prepared for pets. Pet Ready! Earthquake kits will be available.

Pet Ready! is sponsored by Adobe and Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospitals, with special appearances by Los Altos Hills County Fire District and FEMA Search and Rescue, and hosted by Foothill College Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA). Raffle and any donation proceeds will be applied toward bulletproof vests for the local Police K9 units.
